Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a drug store robbery in Kitchener.
Employees at the Pharmacare pharmacy at 944 King Street West have told 570 News a person armed with a gun, made off with some narcotics from the drug store this morning.
This is the second time the drug store has been robbed this month. An armed suspect entered the store in the afternoon of December 9th and made off with a quantity of drugs.
Meantime, Tim Claydon was in the doctors office next door, “All I heard was like a popping noise, like something broke or whatever, and then right after that, the alarm went off. And then of course the doctor and that went downstairs and didn’t know what was going on.”
“It’s hard to say exactly what it was, but knowing that someone broke in, I’d say that maybe that was someone breaking into the door…maybe that was noise I heard.”
Police continue their investigation and have yet to release any information.
