A fire in Kitchener is currently under investigation.
Crews were called out to 1176 Victoria Street North earlier this morning, to Pioneer Family Pools.
An employee, Allison discovered the fire on her way into work. She told 570 News, “it looked like the windows were fogged up, but when I went inside, I realized it was a fire. I called 911 right away.”
The fire has been extinguished, but at this time, officials tell 570 News, they don’t know what caused it.
Sergeant Derek Burger told 570 News no arrests have been made, “it’s very early to know what actually took place here or how the whole break and enter and fire are linked together, but the North Division crime management team has been made aware and they will be conducting the investigation.”
Damage is estimated at $10, 000.
Nobody was injured.
