The Kitchener Rangers have traded overage defenceman Jonathan Jasper to the
Peterborough Petes.
In exchange, The Rangers receive Owen Sound’s fourth round pick in the 2012 OHL draft.
Jasper tells 570 News “It’s going to be hard leaving Kitchener…it’s like my second home.”
“They (Petes) have got a young defence, so hopefully I can go in with some experience and help them get better.”
Jasper at the Petes will be at the Aud on February 24th, the two teams play in Peterborough on January 12th.
