Homicide in Cambridge

Regional Police are investigating a homicide in Cambridge.
Officers were called to the Comfort Inn hotel yesterday where found two people suffering from stab wounds in one of the rooms.
Police spokesperson Alana Holtom tells 570 News a 38-year old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a 48-year old man was rushed to hospital with a life-threatening injury.
They say the wounded man is now under police guard.
No names have been released, but police say the man and woman knew each other.
Police say the two knew each other and they are not looking for any other suspects.
