Hawks visit Queen’s

The Laurier Golden Hawks will be looking to extend their football season this afternoon in Kingston.
They face Queen’s at 1pm in the OUA quarter-finals.
Laurier squeaked into the playoffs with a win over the University of Guelph last weekend.
Queen’s rolled past the Hawks 58-35 in week 3 of the regular season.
Laurier Head Coach, Gary Jeffries says his team got exposed in that loss.
“We’ll go down there this time and hopefully not give up big plays and we expect it to be a real good football game.”
He says one of the keys to victory this afternoon will be limiting turnovers.
If Laurier wins, the Hawks will head to London to play the Mustangs next weekend.
