New Johnny Canuck video aims to help broken-hearted fans

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – He’s back! With the return of the hockey season comes the return of the Canucks viral video.
Johnny Canuck – a.k.a. Adam MacKay-Smith – is about to release a sequel to his wildly successful tribute to the Canucks during last year’s Stanley Cup run.
MacKay-Smith says the Game Seven loss left him shattered after all the emotion of the playoffs, but he hopes the new video will help heart-broken fans heal.
“I say in the next video, it’s funny how one bad day can feel like one bad year, you know?” Johnny tells News1130.
“It really was an amazing year, but just that cloud over our heads now, it feels like it changed that, but I think it will go away.”
He says he has had talks with Canucks management about a possible partnership.
His new video will be available on his YouTube channel before the end of this week.
