Suspect arrested in alleged Brampton kidnapping

Peel Regional Police say a man has been arrested following an abduction in Brampton.

Officers said a man forced a woman into a vehicle at about 1:40 a.m. (on Deerfield Cres., in the Torbram Rd. and Balmoral Dr. area).

They now say they’ve arrested a man fitting 43-year-old Macdermid Ermacora’s description.

Police had identified the victim as Ermacora’s estranged wife, 42-year-old Racquel Junio. She is still missing.
