A 29-year-old man is facing several fraud related charges following an incident in Uptown Waterloo.

Staff at a bank became suspicious of a man trying to complete a transaction on Monday.

Police allege the man used fraudulent identification.

They showed up to arrest the suspect and there was a brief chase on foot before he was taken into custody.

A man from Windsor is being held for a show cause hearing.
