SIU called in following motorcycle crash

A 30-year-old Milton man was airlifted to hospital following a crash on Highway 6 near Maltby Road on Sunday afternoon.
OPP were conducting speed enforcement in the area just before 3 o’clock. An officer observed a number of motorcycles and clocked one of them at a high rate of speed.
He then pulled out and all of the motorcycles sped off.
The officer then observed a crash at the intersection of Highway 6 and Wellington Road 34. Police say a motorcycle hit a car.
The province’s Special Investigations Unit has been called in.
