Weapons seized in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional police reported to a Kitchener home last night on Heel Place where they found 2 men involved in an altercation, one brandishing a machete.
Regional police tell 570 News that in the interest of public safety, several weapons were seized.
A 48- year old Kitchener man is charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and assault with a weapon.
No injuries occurred in the incident.
