WLU and YMCA teaming up in Brantford

Wilfrid Laurier University and the YMCA could soon been teaming up in Brantford.
The province has announced it will provide $16 million in funding for a joint community recreation and athletics centre in the city.
The partnership also involves Six Nations and Mohawk College.
The president and CEO of the YMCA Hamilton-Burlington-Brantford says the project is an important part of the downtown core’s continued economic growth.
