Third person charged in Campus Court fire

A third person has been charged in connection to a multi-million dollar fire in Waterloo.

31-year old William Schneider of Kitchener made a court appearance this morning, charged with arson and property damage in connection to last April’s blaze at the Campus Court Plaza.

Regional police have already laid arson charges against two other people in the case.

The fire caused more than 4-million dollars in damage and destroyed several businesses.

The investigation continues and more charges could be laid.
