Jewellery store robbed in Guelph

Guelph police are investigating after the Peoples Jewellers store in Stone Road Mall was robbed last night.
Investigators say the two male suspects entered the store around 8:46 armed with a hammer and a gun.
Employees and bystanders were ordered to the ground while the suspect carrying the hammer smashed a display case.
The suspects made off with a quantity of items and fled using the Scottsdale Drive entrance.
No one was injured in the robbery.
Police describe the suspects as male, 5′ 10″ to 6′ tall with medium builds. The first suspect is between 20- and 25-years old; the second suspect is described as between 20- and 40-years old.
