Woman’s body found

Police believe they’ve found the body of a missing Woodstock woman near Tavistock.

The OPP notified Woodstock Police yesterday morning that the body of a woman had been discovered inside the identified search area where the vehicle belonging to Brenda Duncan was found on Sunday.

The 57-year-old Woodstock woman has been missing for the last week.

Woodstock Police Chief Rod Freeman says the area is being treated as a crime scene.

Duncan, whose husband is a minister in Woodstock, was a registered nurse in Woodstock.

Police cannot release the cause of death until a post mortem examination has been performed.
