Drunk bites officers

Regional Police like to take a bite out of crime, but the tables were turned early this morning.
At about 1:25 a.m., officers were on patrol in the area of University Avenue East and Pastern Trail in Waterloo, when they spotted a grey car hit the centre median and narrowly miss hitting another vehicle.
While attempting to arrest a 23-year old Waterloo female for impaired driving, police allege she resisted and bit an officer on the hand.
Then, while being transported to a Police Division, the female attempted to damage to the windows of the police vehicle she was in.
And even then, she continued to struggle and bit another officer through his gloves breaking the skin.
The woman faces two counts of Assaulting Police, plus charges of Impaired driving, Over 80, and several Highway Traffic Act and Liquor offences.
