Miranda Lambert has been nominated for nine awards, a record setting amount for a female artist, at this year’s Country Music Awards. She also received five nominations at the 2011 Grammy Awards, including ‘best female country vocal performance,’ ‘best country album,’ ‘song of the year,’ and ‘best country song’.
