The battle between Apple and Research and Motion is heating up, with the head of Apple firing the latest salvo.
In a conference call yesterday, CEO Steve Jobs declared “We’ve now passed RIM, and I don’t see them catching up with us in the foreseeable feature.”
His comments come on the heels of Apple’s latest financial report which showed record sales and earnings fueled by sales of iPhones and iPads.
Quarterly earnings totalled over 4.3-billion-dollars while revenue spiked to over 20-billion-dollars.
