Suspicious death

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating the suspicious death of a Kitchener man.

64 year old Thomas Murie was found dead inside his Queen Street apartment by a family member on Saturday night.

A post mortem conducted in Hamilton on Sunday determined the victim suffered blunt force trauma injuries,
however the exact cause of death has not been determined and further testing has been scheduled.

Investigators are looking into reports that Murie was assaulted in Victoria Park on Tuesday, September 7th.
