Double Decker bus crash

TORONTO – A woman recovering in Toronto from a weekend bus crash in the U-S that killed four people is heading back to Pennsylvania today by train.

Lee Veeraraghavan has multiple bruises and a gash above her eye.

Despite the ordeal, the University of Pennsylvania doctoral student says she won’t rule taking a Megabus again, and has a ticket with bus line for October.

The bus had 28 passengers — including seven Canadians — who escaped major injury.

Two Americans, one person from India and another from Malaysia, were killed when a double-decker Megabus heading to Toronto, took a wrong turn and rammed into a low-hanging bridge near Syracuse, New York.

Both Megabus and local police are probing the cause of the accident.

They have questioned the bus driver and have determined he was not intoxicated, but are still looking for more information.
