“M” is for museum

THEMUSEUM has officially changed its look.

The ‘Children’s Museum’ sign was removed from the front entrance on King Street yesterday and replaced with a new one, as part of the organization’s rebranding. The new sign features a large red ‘M’ with THEMUSEUM underneath.

Executive director David Marskell tells 570 News that the logo works for him on a number of levels including from a marketing perspective because it’s a “powerful logo.”

Marskell says they’re trying to be more relevant and appeal to a larger demographic.

He says the building wrap is just part of the new look which will include a new look for their website as well.

THEMUSEUM recently changed its name from the Children’s Museum in order to become more relevant and sustainable.
