Name of victim released

Wellington County OPP have released the name of a man killed in a crash yesterday afternoon northeast of Guelph.

46 year old Melvin Rolfe of Acton was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy will be done today.

The crash happened just after 11-am at the intersection of Wellington Road 124 at Wellington Road 26 and involved a tractor trailer and dump truck.

A Cambridge man operating the tractor trailer was not hurt.

Police are appealing to any witnesses to come forward.
