Opium arrest

A Kitchener man is facing charges after the RCMP and the Canada Border Services Agency seized opium.

The Mounties say a package destined for the Kitchener area was intercepted at the Hamilton International Airport two weeks ago.

The package contained about one kilo of opium worth an estimated 25 thousand dollars.

A 40 year old man was arrested on July 30th.
