Local protestor talks about G20 experience

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association is condemning the tactics used by Toronto police during G-20 protests last weekend.
It accuses police of what it calls “police brutality”, and says police behaviour was unconstitutional and illegal.
Social activist Dan Kellar of Waterloo, was among an estimated 900 people arrested over the weekend in Toronto.
He tells 570 News peaceful protesters were held for between 20 and 30 hours without charge and what he called inadequate supplies of food and water.
Kellar says that he was held for 20 hours, but was never charged; and that during his time in a temporary holding compound, he was prevented from calling a lawyer.
