A growing number of Canadians won’t have enough money in retirement to maintain their standard of living.
Some experts at T-D Economics says that’s why the pension system needs an overhaul.
T-D Chief Economist Craig Alexander also suggests the use of a public supplementary pension plan to help those in greatest need.
The federal and provincial finance ministers will discuss the pension plan when they meet next week.
