Pharmacy Protest in Kitchener

At least fifty pharmacy students will converge on a Kitchener MPP’s office today to protest frontline cuts to health care.

The province wants to stop allowances the generic drug companies pay pharmacies to carry their products.

University of Toronto fourth-year pharmacy student Joshua Lieblein says that could lead to internship programs being cut.

Today’s protest outside Liberal MPP Leeanna Pendergast’s office will take place at 1:30.
