Charge laid in 401 crash

OPP have charged a 78 year old man with careless driving after yesterday’s multi vehicle crash on the 401 near London.
The crash closed part of the 401 for a few hours.
Police say a vehicle mistakenly entered a Ministry of Transportation inspection station.
While reversing, the vehicle lost control and hit the median.
A transport truck swerved to miss the vehicle, which was side-swiped by two other vehicles before crashing into the median.
One driver was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another person was treated for minor injuries.
