A Kitchener man faces various drug charges after a police raid on an Old Huron Road home: a residence they say was home to an active cannabis marijuana growing operation.

Police say yesterday’s raid netted them 80 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $80,000.

Charges include production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police say it was the same home they were called to on Sunday after receiving a report of a disturbance.
