Fire Marshal wraps up on-scene investigation

The Office of the Fire Marshal has wrapped up its on-scene investigation into a fire at a strip mall in Waterloo.
Investigators released the scene at the campus court plaza back to its property managers yesterday morning.
Debris taken from the scene will be tested.
Damage to the plaza is estimated at 3 million dollars but officials say that could rise as the cleanup gets underway.
Last week’s blaze damaged six businesses and left almost a hundred people out of work.
