Crash on the 401 turns fatal

A serious collision that happened on the 401 last Sunday afternoon has resulted in a fatality.
Cambridge OPP report that the 2-year-old girl who suffered injuries in the crash has died.
Aldiola Kozhani was taken to McMaster University Hospital in Hamilton, but succumbed to her injuries on Friday.
The crash happened on the westbound lanes of the highway between Homer Watson and Cedar Creek when the car the young child was travelling in slowed on the highway and was hit from behind by a pick-up truck.
Police continue to investigate.
