The annual Technology, Entertainment, Design event, or TEDx is being held today in Waterloo.

Some of the world’s most innovative ideas are shared at the conference through a series of lectures.

One of the speakers is Waterloo’s very own Dr. Darren Wershler.

The Wilfrid Laurier Communications Professor tells 570 News about the idea of “impossible” machines, and how technology relates to our society.

The event at the Gig Music Hall will close tonight with an after-party to follow.
