Here comes the snow

Some areas of the province could get hit with up to 16 centimetres of snow today.

570 News Weather Specialist John Wilson is calling for between 5 and 10-cm.

So far there are no storm warnings or watches for Waterloo Region, just a special weather statement.

The snow is expected to continue this evening and taper off overnight.

The bulk of the snow is expected to hit in
the Windsor area and into London and Brantford.

Environment Canada’s Dave Phillips tells 570’s Gary Doyle Show we’ve had a snow drought.

Just 46-cm has fallen this winter, compared to 188-cm this time last year.
