Roundabout may solve Cambridge’s biggest traffic headache

The region is making plans to deal with Cambridge’s most congested roadway, the King and Fountain area of the city.
Officials will hold a public information session in early March to lay out plans which include, building a two-lane roundabout in front of the old Preston Springs Hotel and shifting part of Shantz Hill.
Friday’s Record reports the plan would also include adding bike lanes and sidewalks and adding bus priority signals.
The public input session will take place March 9 at the King Street Baptist church, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
