Human bones found

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after people walking along a trail off Victoria Street discovered human bones.

Officials say the bones were found in a field of low brush in Woolwich Township on Saturday.

Police Spokesperson Olaf Heinzel says the bones had been there for some time.

He says police are cross-referencing missing person’s reports to see if they could belong to someone who disappeared.
