They say he moved mountains and last night, humanitarian Greg Mortenson moved thousands in the crowd at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
People who paid to listen to his talk say they are inspired to do their own part to change the world.
One woman says it makes her want to go to Afghanistan to help.
Mortenson has helped build 80 schools in that country, effectively helping thousands of young girls get an education.
His best-selling book also inspired the military.
Mortenson says Three Cups of Tea is now a required reading for all troops in Canada and the U.S. before they are deployed.
