Waterloo firefighter to be honoured

A Waterloo firefighter will be honoured by city council tonight.
Dwayne Drover won the World’s Firefighter Combat Challenge last year.
It was no easy feat, requiring him to make his way through a very challenging obstable course, which he did, in record time.
The event required participants to complete the course in full firefighting gear.
They had to climb a tower, drag a hose and rescue a life-sized 175-pound dummy.
