Outlook positive on job growth

Canadian economists are predicting jobs will be more plentiful this year.
In November 79,000 jobs were created and economists expect December’s numbers, which will be announced later this morning to again be positive.
The consensus of 22 economists surveyed this week forecast a 20,000 job gain last month, with some saying it could be as high as 40,000.
The general feeling is that hiring will resume more quickly than usual when the economy starts to grow again.
