RIM to open new offices in North Carolina

Waterloo-based Research in Motion is planning to open a research-and-development office in North Carolina.
Details on the new location, when it will open and how many people could be hired is not known. However, a two-day job fair in the Raleigh area last month has already started hiring some of the thousands of local high-tech workers laid off in the past two years.
RIM currently has offices in Texas, California, Florida and Illinois.
