Possible college teachers strike

Ontario College teachers could soon be putting down their books.
No new talks are planned, and a strike vote is set to take place on Wednesday.
But, OPSEU has to give the colleges five days notice in the event of a strike.
That means the earliest it could happen is Tuesday, January 19.
Conestoga College President John Tibbits tells 570’s Gary Doyle Show he’s optimistic a deal can still be reached.
OPSEU’s Chief Negotiator, Ted Montgomery says he’s also hopeful.
Montgomery says in the past they’ve had 12 strike votes and only three strikes.
The main issue is workload.
