Showers and thunderstorms expected this morning across the region

Heavy downpours could cause 20 to 50 mm of rain across parts of the KW.

Environment Canada issued a special weather statement about the potential for showers and thunderstorms Sunday morning.

Affected areas include Kitchener, Cambridge and Waterloo Region.
