Two charged in connection with Nov. altercation at Milton’s

Two people have been charged following an altercation at Milton's Restaurant in Kitchener back in November, 2021.
The incident happened the evening of Nov. 10.
A man, accompanied by a service dog, was allegedly assaulted in the restaurant. Video of the incident was posted on social media and shared thousands of times.
The video showed the victim being forcibly removed from the restaurant, by two men believed to be staff.
Police say a 53-year-old Kitchener man is facing an assault charge.
A 54-year-old man, also from Kitchener, is charged with assault and one count of utter threats.
Waterloo Regional Police say the investigation was “extensive” and they're thanking all members of the public who came forward with information.
