Three injured in Kitchener crash (update)

Charges are pending following a serious, two-vehicle crash in Kitchener.
It happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Fischer Hallman Road and Max Becker Drive intersection.
Waterloo Regional Police confirmed it involved an SUV and a car.
The driver and passenger of the SUV – a 86-year-old Kitchener man and 82-year-old Kitchener woman – were taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The 31-year-old Kitchener man driving the car suffered minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone that witnessed the crash or has any dash cam footage is asked to contact WRPS or Crime Stoppers.
Southbound lanes were closed on Fischer Hallman Road for the investigation, but have since reopened.
