Waterloo softball team wins national title

It will be a very happy plane ride back to the region for the Waterloo Ghosts.

The under-19 team edged the Windsor Wildcats 6-5 on Sunday afternoon out in B.C. to take gold.

The Ghosts went undefeated at the championship.

Waterloo won bronze at the nationals in 2017.
