Panthers hold on for win over the Maple Leafs

The Kitchener Panthers built a six-run lead and hung on for a 6-4 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Wednesday night at Christie Pits.
Mike Glinka drove in three to pace the Panthers (17-7).
Brian Burton had three hits and two RBI, Tanner Nivins singled twice and scored three times with an RBI, Mike Gordner went 2-for-5 with a run, while Yorbis Borroto and Zach Johnson had two hits apiece.
Jonder Martinez (4-1) went five innings, giving up four runs on three hits with five walks and two strikeouts.
Miguel Lahera struck out the side for his fifth save.
Toronto scored all of its runs in the fourth inning after falling behind 6-0. Garret Takamatsu, Damon Topolie and Greg Carrington each drove in a run. The Leafs picked up three of their four total hits in the inning.
Pedro De Los Santos (2-2) took the loss, though three of the six runs he allowed were unearned thanks to a pair of Toronto errors. He was touched for 12 hits over four innings while walking three and striking out two.
