Kitchener bowler to represent Canada

Kitchener's Owen Kirby will be heading to California in the fall.

He was one of 20 players named to the Canadian team for the 2018 North American Challenge.

It starts October 11 in Orange Country, California.

Canada will face teams from the United States.

“We are excited with the blend of experienced and youth athletes selected for the North American Challenge,” stated Darryl Fitzgerald, National Development Coach.

“Our goals are to achieve podium success while also providing international experience for the up and coming future national program athletes. I think we have a great mix of athletes to achieve both goals.” he added.
