The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth is asking for help to pay for a surgery for a stray cat.
Cheeto arrived at the society needing overnight support at the Emergency Vet Clinic.
He suffered a broken leg and is schedule for surgery next Tuesday to repair it.
The cost of Cheeto's care is estimated to be $3,500, and the society says emergency surgeries are fairly common.
Animals receive extensive medical care and are able to recover.
