Police say body found in Nith River in New Hamburg

A man's body has been found in the Nith River in New Hamburg.
Acting Super Intendant John Goodman says that the body was discovered by a fisherman early Sunday morning.
Police and firefighters have retrieved the body and a coroner is determining the cause of death.
