OPP launch Festive RIDE campaign

Our local officers led the way last week, and now OPP are following suit.
Provincial police right across Ontario are hitting the road today, launching their annual Festive RIDE campaigns.
This year's big focus is pot, as police will be out in full force looking for any and all drug-impaired drivers.
They say drugs have already been “a bit” of an issue this year, with 283 drivers charged from January 1st to mid-October.
Alcohol still taking the reins though, as over 6,400 people were busted for driving drunk during that same period.
