Another closure for Harmony Lunch in Uptown Waterloo.
The beloved burger joint at 90 King Street North shut down in December 2016, when its long time owner Bruce Marks retired.
In came Nick Benniger who purchased the business for $1.4 million and said the restaurant would stay open, once again serving its famous pork burgers and fried onions.
Tuesday, the restaurant tweeted it will be shutting down on January 24th, 2020.
No reason for the closure was given.
Harmony Lunch has been serving Waterloo Region for nearly 90 years.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that we will be closing our doors permanently on January 24th, 2020. We would like to thank the region for all of their support throughout the years. We appreciate each and every one of you! Thanks for dining with us! #kwawesome pic.twitter.com/DG320ev5cv
