‘Good Witch’ will be filming in Cambridge

Film crews will once again be setting up in Cambridge.
Good Witch, which airs on the Hallmark Channel, will be filmed there for three days, starting Thursday.
It stars Catherine Bell and James Denton.
Here is where the filming will take place:
- 40 Dickson Street (Market Building) – Thursday, October 24, 2019
- 46 Dickson Street (Historic City Hall) – Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2019
- 50 Dickson Street (City Hall) – Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2019
- Civic Square – Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2019
- 12 Water Street South (Idea Exchange, Old Post Office) – Monday, October 28, 2019
Anticipated Impacts
October 24
- Filming in the Farmers’ Market parking lot, interiors at Historic City Hall and the City Hall atrium
- Intermittent traffic control has been requested on Dickson Street, outside of rush hours
October 25
- Filming in the Historic City Hall clock tower (morning) and Civic Square (afternoon)
- Installation of a statue within the Civic Square
- Intermittent traffic control has been requested on Dickson Street, outside of rush hours
October 28
- All filming on this date to take place within the Idea Exchange, Old Post Office location. The Old Post Office will remain open to the public during regular operating hours
- No road closures or intermittent traffic control has been requested
Special Advisories
- A specialized lighting rig may be utilized within Cambridge City Hall on October 24
- Visitors may be held in the lobby during takes (between 3-5 minutes). The building will remain open and accessible to the public
Parking
- Basecamp has been approved for the upper lot at Churchill Park – it will be unavailable for public use during the course of this project. Members of the public may utilize the lower lot by Duncan McIntosh area for the duration of the project
- Parking within the market lot has been granted for October 24, and 25
- Limited space has been approved in the Beverly St lot
- On street parking on Cambridge Street has been requested
- On-street parking has been requested on Water St S between Main and Warnock on Monday, October 28
