Fresh off three-day licence suspension, driver facing new impaired charges

On Saturday, April 13, 2019, at approximately 5:35 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Fountain Street in Cambridge, after receiving reports of a suspected impaired driver, passed out behind the wheel, of a running vehicle. 

As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old Cambridge male was arrested and charged with several impaired-related offences. 

This same driver had his drivers licence reinstated the previous day, from a recent suspension from a 3-day alcohol-related suspension. 

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.
